What is the project?
Ofsted are currently re-designing our forms and processes for people applying to register with us as a childcare or social care provider.
As part of this work, we want to gather feedback from our users so that we can identify improvements and changes. We want to get feedback from those who have been through our current application process, so that we can understand your experiences with the current process and make sure our new designs are easy to use and understand.
How will we gather feedback?
This project is taking place over the next year. As part of this project, we will be running regular research sessions to gain this feedback. Research sessions will likely take the form of a Microsoft Teams interview, lasting a maximum of one hour. During a research session, we would be asking for feedback on your experiences, and then showing you potential designs of our new service to gain your opinion on these.
How do I register my interest?
This form is used to gather the details of those who may be interested in taking part in a research session related to this project over the next year. If you would like to be considered to take part in a research session for this project in the future, please complete the form below.

So that you can make an informed decision about whether you still wish to take part, if we contact you about taking part in research, we will then provide more information about how the specific session will run, the dates and times of the sessions, and what you can expect.
Completing this form is not an agreement to take part in the research sessions, and does not guarantee that Ofsted will contact you about research sessions related to this project.
You do not have to take part, even if you compete the form. Any research requests from Ofsted can be refused or ignored without needing to provide a reason. Whether you choose to sign up for research sessions or not, this will have no impact on your registration.

This form will ask for your name, email address, provider information, and Ofsted URN. This will help us contact you about research sessions. We also ask some information about your health. These questions are optional and is used to help us speak to a diverse range of users and ensure research sessions meet any needs you have.
Any data entered into the form will only be used to contact you about research sessions related to this project and which are relevant to your role at Ofsted. Data collected will be stored on restricted drives with access only for those who need it to contact you for the purposes of this project.
