1. The NHS is planning to improve access to services. Through something called Enhanced Access, they want to improve access to general practice between 6.30pm-8pm weekday evenings and 9am-5pm on Saturdays.
NHS England have asked that we offer a mix of appointments and a mix of different clinicians providing them across the Primary Care Network Practices which includes Allport Surgery, Civic Medical Centre, Eastham Group Practice, The Orchard Surgery, Spital Surgery and Sunlight Group Practice.
Clinicians who will provide enhanced access across the PCN included: General Practitioner, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, Health Care Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist, Wellbeing Practitioner, Health Coach, Mental Health Care Co-ordinator.
