We have a Healthy Schools Coordinator, a Healthy Schools Steering Group, and a member of staff who leads on the Bristol Ideal Award.
We ensure there are a range of ways for pupils to voice their opinions and influence decisions for the Bristol Ideal award and make changes as a direct result.
We have made changes to our setting’s physical environment to make it a safer space.
Our setting has a zero-tolerance approach to abuse and violence, and a culture that promotes healthy relationships, consent, respect between pupils and respect for diversity and inclusion.
We have policies in place that clearly outline how the school and staff should respond to any domestic abuse and sexual violence experienced or perpetrated by staff, volunteers, or pupils.
Staff and pupils know who the first point of contact is within their setting if they need to discuss issues around experiences of domestic violence.
