Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is working to improve the quality of life of older people in Merthyr Tydfil. We want to ensure that Merthyr Tydfil is an age friendly town, where people can age healthily, happily, and safely.
This survey is to help us understand what is important to older people, and what they would want to see in an age friendly community. It will help us see what is already going well in Merthyr Tydfil, but also what needs to improve for people as they age.
We encourage those over 50, and their families, friends and carers to have their say in this survey, to help drive change in Merthyr Tydfil. The information we gather from this survey will help create an ‘Age Friendly Action Plan,’ so people can continue to happily call Merthyr Tydfil ‘home’ as they age.
