Register for JU:MP@Home Children's Focus Groups

THANK-YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN THE JU:MP@HOME RESEARCH

We would like to speak to children and young people aged between 8 to 14 years about JU:MP@Home.

We would like to find out what they liked/didn't like about JU:MP@Home, what activities they tried, how hard/how easy they found it was to do the activities inside your home, and what they think we could do to make it better.

We will record the voices of people in the group so that we can type up everything that was said and analyse the information. We will only record people’s voices and will not record any video. All information collected will be anonymised and no individual will be identified within any reports. However if your child discloses any safeguarding issues for themselves or your family, or illegal behaviour then the researcher would disclose this to the appropriate authorities. An example being any disclosure of any physical or mental abuse disclosed by your child.

Focus groups will last 45 minutes and your child will receive a £10 shopping voucher for taking part. As there are a limited number of spaces, it will not be possible to invite every child to attend a focus group.

If you are happy for your child to take part, please make sure you read the information sheet with your child and then complete this form. If you have lost the information sheet, you can access it here: https://bit.ly/3gfGopJ

You can change your mind about your child taking part at any time - you do not have to give us a reason why. Your child can also change their mind about taking part. If you do not want your child to take part, please close this window and thank-you for your time.

Please select the age range of your child

Please tell us your telephone number - this is so we can contact you to arrange your child attending a focus group

Please state the name of the school your child attends - this is to help us organise a focus group in your local area (e.g. at your child's school or at a local community centre)

These questions may be considered personal. We would like to remind you that your participation is strictly voluntary and that your responses are used for research purposes only. All data will be collected and processed in adherence to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
