Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Teams (CRHTT)

Survey for clinicians and partner organisations

It is 2014 since the NHS mental health crisis service was last formally reviewed in Gloucestershire. Since then and largely as a result of the last review the service has grown and developed into what is a major service within Gloucestershire’s urgent care pathway.

The CCG and 2gether NHSFT are currently conducting a review of the existing service to ensure that we provide the best possible mental health crisis services. Whilst we have a lot of data about the performance of the service and a number of surveys by people with lived experience and their carers, we do not have any formal feedback from partner organisations both statutory and non-statutory.

We are therefore sending this survey to all partners in the Gloucestershire Crisis Care Concordat, both statutory and non-statutory, and any other organisations that we know deliver a service to people with mental health needs, in order to seek wider feedback. We are happy for you to share the survey both within your organisation and with any other organisations who you believe would like to comment. The survey is not intended to capture feedback from people with lived experience.

Your responses will be anonymous unless you provide your details.  It is however, helpful for us to know any organisation that you are responding on behalf of. All feedback given will be treated in confidence, stored securely and only used for the purposes of this service review.  As a service evaluation, NHS ethical approval is not required, but the survey has been logged on the local research and development study database.

We recognise that you may have referred to this service multiple times, however, for the purpose of this survey, please think about your overall experience of the service.  There is an opportunity to leave further comments or specific examples in a free-text question later in the survey.  Please do not give include patient identifiable information in any of your responses.

If you have any queries about this survey please contact David Pugh at, Tel: 07905 238753 or Peter Carter at
