Waste Reduction Training programme for Health Service Staff delivered by the Clean Technology Centre as part of the HSE Green Healthcare Programme.
The Green Healthcare Programme has collated Healthcare specific good practice on waste management and recycling from observations in acute and community hospitals around Ireland and has generated training materials on the different waste streams. In order to provide direct support to healthcare facilities we are offering online waste reduction training.
Training Details
This training will provide:
- An overview of healthcare waste streams
- Guidance on reducing healthcare risk waste
- Information on implementing actions to meet HSE waste reduction targets
- Guidance on reducing single use plastic use
- Examples of actions from other healthcare facilities
