Cantley Survey

Page 1

Dear Parish Resident,

A neighbourhood plan is being created by a group of residents (the Neighbourhood Plan Working Group) alongside the Parish Council.  The plan will capture how we, as parishioners, want to see our villages and the wider parish develop.  Once the Neighbourhood Plan has been completed and adopted, Broadland District Council, and the Broads Authority, must take note of what it says when considering future development and help protect the rural nature of the parish.  The Neighbourhood Plan will link into the Greater Norwich Local Plan that you were advised of at the public meeting held at Cantley Village Hall on 29th January 2026.

This survey is your chance to have your say.

The survey is a critical part of creating the Plan.  The Plan will carry much more weight if we can demonstrate it is based on solid evidence from our community.  We have distributed one paper copy of the questionnaire to each household and this online version is exactly the same as the paper one. Thank you for completing the survey online.

Your names are NOT shown on the survey and ALL ANSWERS ARE TREATED AS CONFIDENTIAL

There are no right or wrong answers and will be used in summary form only. We are simply looking for your honest views. Responses will be kept confidential and will only be used to inform the Neighbourhood Plan.

The more people who take part, the stronger and more representative the plan will be. We encourage every member over 16 years of age in your household to complete their own copy if possible.

Tony Johnson - Chair, Neighbourhood Plan Working Group
