1. College of Policing practice sharing form

0%
The College of Policing supports practice sharing across the community safety and crime reduction sector, including policing, voluntary organisations and local government.

To enable practice sharing, we're inviting you to submit details of practice using this form. This information will be considered for inclusion in our practice bank.

We define practice as including: tactics, interventions, initiatives or approaches that have been implemented to tackle organisational, local, regional or national issues. Use this form to tell us about an example of practice. If you have more than one example to share, please use a separate form for each intervention.

We cannot share practice that includes protected, sensitive or tactical information.

This practice sharing form requests details about your practice or intervention, including information about:
  • the problem it addresses
  • its implementation status
  • outcomes
  • any evaluation that has been carried out
  • learning derived from implementation

Before starting the form, make sure you have access to any documents that you might want to use. You can save the form and come back to it to finish.

Your participation in this practice sharing process is completely voluntary and you are under no obligation to participate. We ask you to provide your name and email address for the purpose of contacting you about your practice.
In addition to this, the College will obtain your consent at the end of the form to:
  • publish your name, email address and practice on the College of Policing’s public-facing website, so that people may contact you about your practice
  • share your name and email address with other forces who may benefit from your practice and would like to contact you directly

The lawful basis for processing your information is to perform a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in us. By completing and submitting this form to the College, you hereby grant the College of Policing permission to edit and publish the contents on its website. You also warrant to the College that the content is your own original work and does not infringe upon the copyright or any other rights of another party.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting whatworks@college.police.uk
We will hold your information for 10 years. After this period, your information will be securely disposed of. All information is held securely on our College network.

For more information about your rights, or to contact our data protection officer, please see the College privacy notice on the legal section of our website.
