The RCOphth is committed to the highest possible standards for the training of resident doctors and is proposing to make changes to Curriculum 2024. As part of the process, the GMC requires the RCOphth to consult with its residents and others as to the appropriateness of the changes. Your feedback will inform any changes that may need to be made to the proposals and will be submitted to the GMC. Your feedback is needed on three proposals, information about which can be found here, including a new curriculum diagram.
The three separate proposals are:
- Proposal 1 - Streamlining Curriculum 2024
- Proposal 2 - Alternative terminology for the curriculum stages
- Proposal 3 - Refraction
