Introduction
This survey is for people who are working, or have worked, in Jersey on a work permit. The responses will be used anonymously as part of a review of Jersey’s work permit policy and the protection that it offers workers.

The review is being carried out by the Work Permit Holder Welfare Review Panel which has been set up by the Island’s Scrutiny function which examines Government policies and decisions.

What is the survey about?
This is a survey about your experience of living and working in Jersey on a work permit.

Your views are important to find out about the welfare of work permit holders and how policy can be improved to support them.

The survey asks specific questions on getting a work permit and your welfare but we would also welcome general feedback on your experience of working in Jersey.

This survey is aimed at work permit holders, but the Panel would also value the views of dependants who can contact us directly with their experiences by writing (anonymously if required) to the Panel at scrutiny@gov.je

Completing the Survey
This survey is voluntary and your answers will be treated anonymously. The Panel may refer to quotes gathered through the open questions of the survey, but they will not be attributed to any individuals.

The survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. The deadline for the survey is 2 June 2023.

If you have any queries about the survey or would like to provide the Panel with any more information for this review on an anonymous basis, please contact us as scrutiny@gov.je or 01534 441084.
