As part of Essex County Council’s Covid-19 recovery plan and preparations for easing out of lockdown, we need to understand the changing impact to people’s employment.

We want to better understand who has been impacted by Covid-19 in terms of employment, how they have been affected, and what support they might need around future employment opportunities in the future.

As part of the research we are also looking to explore these issues in more detail via a follow up conversation or focus group, where we’re looking to talk to both residents in Essex and business owners about:
  • How residents are feeling about their future employment opportunities
  • What barriers exist in re-entering employment
  • What support residents feel they need to get back into employment market
  • The views of business owners on employment opportunities
Please complete this survey and indicate if you are interested in taking part in a conversation or focus group about your experiences with a member of ECC’s Research & Citizen Insight team. If you would like to be involved and do participate in the follow up research, we’ll provide a £10 supermarket voucher as a thank you for taking part.

We’re really keen to hear about your experiences over the last year, and the things you tell us will be used to inform support around employment, finances and wellbeing in Essex.

Responses will be confidential, you will not be identifiable in any reporting. If you wish to take part in further engagement, there is an opportunity to provide your contact details at the end of the survey. You will not be contacted without your consent, and you can change your mind about taking part at any time.
