Home to School and College Transport Policy
Children Families and Schools and Adults Services have worked in collaboration to refresh and update the Home to School and College Transport Policy. This refreshed policy covers available transport support for children and young people of compulsory school age, sixth form age and those young people post-19 with additional needs. The policy is now split into sections for each of these age categories to make it easier for families to navigate the support that is available to them.
Children, young people and their families should not notice difference while using the home to school and college transport, but it is hoped that the refreshed policy is easier to understand.
Ahead of approving and publishing this policy, we are consulting with all those with an interest in the policy, including parents of past, present and future users of home to school and college transport, and school and support staff. This survey is your invitation to view and comment on the proposed policy and should take no more than 5 minutes of your time.
