The Social Marketing Gateway (SMG) is working with East Sussex County Council to carry out research around why some people do not pay for their adult social care (ASC), and how to support them to pay.
This survey is for local organisations and services within East Sussex to gather your views and opinions about why some people do and do not pay for ASC, and what could be done in the future to overcome barriers and challenges. We want to hear from a wide variety of people that engage with or support clients of ASC, including those that provide care, debt and financial support and advice services, local authorities, and voluntary and community sector organisations. This is your chance to have your say about Adult Social Care payments, and share your views.
Please answer questions as fully as possible. There are no right or wrong answers – we are just looking for open and honest feedback. You are free to withdraw from the survey at any time before clicking the final “submit” button.
At the end of the survey, you will be given the option to opt-in to a further stage of research, which involves having a chat with a member of the SMG team to gain further insight and understand more about your thoughts and opinions. This chat will be online over Zoom/Teams at a time that suits you, and will last around 45-60 minutes.
If you require this survey in a different format, please email research@smgateway.co.uk
