Chemical Landmarks (RSC Blue Plaques) application

Thank you for your interest in our National Chemical Landmarks (Blue Plaques) Scheme. If you have not already done so, please read the guidance notes on making an application before completing this form. 4. Please explain how and why you think this submission celebrates diversity in the chemical sciences (2000 character / 490 word limit). *


5. Successful applicants can receive an associated grant of up to £2000 to celebrate the award with and in the local community. Please tell us about any ideas or plans to engage with your local community in relation to the plaque and the story behind it. You are welcome to speak with us about your ideas before you apply. Your ideas will be taken into consideration by the award panel. Ideas can be indicative at this stage and finalised later if your application is approved (2000 character / 400 word limit). *


6. Tell us who your stakeholders are and what, if any, meetings or conversations have already taken place (1000 characters / 250 word limit). *


7. Do you have a connection to the person/team/collaboration/building/event/discovery or are you a representing organisation or community group? *


8. Where do you propose the plaque will be located? Please be as descriptive as possible. Include any information you have at this stage about the who the authority for permissions lies with and whether formal planning consent is required. Your award will not be finalised until all necessary permissions have been granted (1500 characters / 250 words). *
