Family Integrated Care
Family Integrated Care (FIC) is a process where parents become an integral part of the Neonatal team and are encouraged to provide most of their baby's care. Throughout the baby's stay, the parents gradually gain confidence, knowledge and control.
This process is beginning to become more prevalent within Neonatal units across the country. We need to understand how involved parents are currently and what areas we need to concentrate on to increase parental involvement.
We would therefore appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to complete our survey.
