Introduction
Thank you for your interest in taking part in the Fairfield Independent Review’s public engagement.
This form is for Londoners who would like to participate in a Citizens’ Engagement Forum: a group discussion with local residents in your area to discuss and develop recommendations for how the Metropolitan Police Service can improve.
We are working with frontline organisations to create opportunities for Londoners under 18 to provide their views – please do not complete this form if you are under 18.
About Citizens' Engagement Forums:
- We are running up to 12 Citizens’ Engagement Forums across London – getting as much coverage as possible across Metropolitan Police Service ‘Basic Command Unit’ (BCU) areas
- Each forum will have capacity for 12–15 participants
- As far as possible, we are aiming for forums that reflect the diversity of Londoners
- Forums will be facilitated group discussions focused on developing solutions and recommendations for how the Metropolitan Police Service can improve
- Forums will be held from May 2026
- These forums are entirely independent of the police and will be run by the Review team
- Each forum will last approximately 90 minutes/one and a half hours
- There will also be an opportunity on the day to speak confidentially to a Review team member/s one-to-one
- Details of appropriate support services will be provided to all participants
