What information is being collected?
As well as your views about the campaign designs, we will also ask you for information about your age and gender.
Why is it being collected?
Personal Information is being collected to ensure that those who respond to the survey are eligible. For sensitive information, you will have the option to select ‘prefer not to say’, should you want to.
Who is collecting it?
Hitch marketing are a social marketing agency currently undertaking a research project on behalf of Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance (https://www.hitchmarketing.co.uk).
How will it be used?
The data will be analysed to review the impact of the campaign.
Any data that Hitch gives the Cancer Alliance team will be anonymous.
How long will it be kept?
We will keep your data for 18 months following the completion of the project and then they will be securely destroyed.
How will it be stored?
Your details will be stored digitally on our secure server. Any hard copy of data will be kept in a locked filing cabinet when not being used for analysis purposes. It will continue to be stored there for 18 months following the completion of the evaluation.
Your right to anonymity.
You have the right to access your data and withdraw consent until __ December 2025, when survey analysis begins. Once you complete the survey you’ll receive a unique participant ID, which identifies your response but not you personally. Keep this ID if you may want to withdraw later.
