Hessle Town Council Survey

Hessle Town Council has commissioned this survey to help with how we plan and prioritize our activities in the future. The Town Council’s objective is “to develop Hessle into a town that all of our residents are proud to call home by enhancing the attractiveness of the town as a place in which to live, work, visit or invest.”

It is important that these plans accurately reflect the priorities of Hessle residents and take into account the views of the Town’s businesses and services, among others.

There are some things which the Council can influence but not control, such as Town Planning, Traffic and Policing.  We will continue to be active on these matters to help inform and influence the appropriate authorities.

The Council can however, directly control other things which can have influence on the objective stated above. These include:
  • Enhancing the physical and natural environment in and around the town.
  • Providing and promoting social, recreational and leisure events and facilities.
  • Supporting and facilitating the provision of community facilities.
  • Supporting and facilitating retail, commercial and businesses activity in the town.
  • Preserving the traditions and promoting the strong independent identity of the town.
We are keen to ensure that we take into account as wide a cross section of views as possible, so please take the time to fill in this questionnaire and let us know what you think.  There is no limit to the number of surveys each household can fill in and we welcome a response from everyone in your household.

To thank you for your time and help with this you will have the opportunity to enter a prize draw at the end of the survey to win £50 to spend on a meal at any Hessle restaurant, café or pub.

Many Thanks,

Hessle Town Council
