Implementing the Enhanced Acute Stroke Centres for Lancashire and South Cumbria – Public Survey

In collaboration with stroke survivors, carers, the Stroke Association and stroke specialist staff, NHS Trusts and NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups in Lancashire and South Cumbria have agreed to make an unprecedented investment in acute stroke services.

The Business Case, which identified why change was needed and what should be done to provide the best possible stroke service in our hospital and community services, was approved. We need to inform you of our proposals for the enhanced acute stroke centres and give you the opportunity to feedback on its impact.
