We published our Safety Plan for 2025–2030 in April, outlining how we’ll keep communities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight safe over the next five years. This includes:
- Assessing local risks and how we respond to them
- Making the best use of our people, vehicles, and equipment
- Ensuring long-term financial sustainability
To continue delivering high-quality services, we’re proposing some changes based on risk analysis and resource use. These changes are also part of our plan to address a projected £3.55 million funding shortfall.
We know these proposals may raise questions, and we want to hear from you. Your feedback will help shape the final decisions.
This is your Fire and Rescue Service. We need views from residents of all backgrounds to ensure our Service meets the needs of everyone who lives, works and travels through Hampshire & Isle of Wight.
View our proposal, then complete this brief survey which should take you around 5 minutes.
Together, we can make life safer. Thank you for your time.
