Dear POA Members,
The promotion of academic excellence within the orthopaedic specialty has always been a priority for the Pakistan Orthopaedic Association (POA). The current Executive Board continues to uphold this commitment and is dedicated to fostering opportunities for national and international fellowships.
We are pleased to announce that the Korean Orthopaedic Association (KOA) has extended an invitation to three young orthopaedic surgeons to attend their annual congress and present their research papers. Each selected individual will receive the following traveling fellow's benefits from KOA:
Travelling Fellowship (for up to 3 people):
a. Complimentary registration
b. 4 nights’ accommodation
c. Invitation to the Presidential dinner
Please note that only the above benefits will be provided by KOA, and all other expenses will be managed on a self-finance basis. Neither POA nor KOA will offer financial support for this opportunity. However, this presents a unique chance to engage with and learn from renowned surgeons at the KOA congress.
Guidelines & Criteria for Application:
a. Must be a POA Life Member willing to present their research work at the KOA conference.
b. POA members who have previously availed traveling fellowships or training facilities in South Korea need not apply.
Please submit the abstract of your paper for onward submission. You are requested to submit your application through this link . The closing date for submission is 6th April 2024.
