Lord Holmes Review

Introduction - Lord Holmes Review

Lord Holmes of Richmond MBE has been commissioned to review the public appointments application process and make recommendations on how to improve it for disabled people. Which is why we want to hear from you. The government holds disability data on only 65% of public appointees, and just 5% of those who provided data recorded a disability. We want to create a public appointments process which is inclusive and where disabled people can flourish.

The Lord Holmes Review is interested in responses from anyone, but we are especially interested to hear from existing and former public appointees (disabled and non-disabled), people who are interested in public appointments or who have unsuccessfully applied for a public appointment and anyone who has been involved in the recruitment of a public appointee. This survey should only take five minutes to complete.

Please note that we will be better able to use your responses if you avoid using personally identifiable or commercially sensitive information.

We would also welcome views from organisations as well as individuals. These can be submitted using the details provided below.
