The current Kincardine Health Centre is no longer fit for purpose. Kincardine needs a building that will support modern health and wellbeing services in your local community. A new Kincardine Community Health & Wellbeing* Centre will flexibly provide a range of services including General Practice, community care and voluntary sector, for example Chest, Heart & Stroke; Alzheimer’s Scotland; Fife Carers Centre etc.
The new building and all services will need to be designed appropriately and operate differently to ensure Covid-19 measures such as masks and distancing are in place for the health and safety of the people of Kincardine.
There are some processes which are being worked through to agree the funding for a new building. We have completed the first one - the Initial Agreement Document (IAD). This was approved by Scottish Government in January and YOU may have been involved in this work. We have now been asked to complete an Outline Business Case (OBC) to provide more detail about the building design including what’s needed in the centre, costs and we need your input to develop this.
As part of this work we would like to gather as much information from the community as possible. Please answer the questions below or you can email the project team using Fife.email@example.com
*wellbeing - includes happiness, but also includes other things, such as how satisfied we are with our lives, a sense of purpose and how in control we feel - enabling us to feel mentally, physically, socially and spiritually well.
