Healthwatch is the independent champion for people who use health and care services. The nine Healthwatch organisations across Cheshire and Merseyside are working together to understand people’s views and experiences of using the NHS App. Your feedback will help make sure digital services work for everyone.
The NHS App is designed to give people a simple and secure way to access NHS services on a smartphone, tablet or computer. Many people use it to order repeat prescriptions, book appointments or view their medical record. The NHS is also increasingly collecting patient feedback digitally. This can be convenient, but it doesn’t work for everyone. We want to make sure people can give feedback and access services in a way that suits them, so nobody is excluded or disadvantaged.
This survey will help us understand:
- who uses the NHS App and who doesn’t
- what helps or prevents people from using it
- whether people feel comfortable giving feedback or raising concerns online
- what support people might need if more services move online
Your answers are anonymous. We do not ask for your name or any personal data about you. At Healthwatch, we are committed to data security and privacy. All responses to this survey will be treated in accordance with data protection legislation and local Healthwatch privacy policies. Privacy notices can be found on your local Healthwatch's website, or contact your local Healthwatch for more information.
The survey is open to anyone who lives or works in Cheshire and Merseyside, or uses NHS services in the area. It takes around 5 to10 minutes to complete.
If you need this survey in another format (paper, large print or by telephone), please contact your local Healthwatch.
Thank you for sharing your views and helping protect people’s choice in how they access NHS services.
