Healthwatch North Tyneside is working with North Tyneside’s Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB) to better understand experiences of using the adult safeguarding system in North Tyneside.  We know how important the Voluntary and Community Sector are in preventing and reporting harm to adults in our area.  We aim to understand what, if any, actions are needed that will improve safeguarding systems and processes.

We are undertaking work to hear directly from residents who have been through safeguarding and voluntary sector organisations who might either raise safeguarding concerns or support people going through a safeguarding process.

This survey is for voluntary sector organisations and community groups. We would like  aresponse from an organisation as a whole rather from several different people in the same organisation.

We ask about your experiences and feelings about safeguarding adults systems in North Tyneside. Your responses  will be used to provide feedback to the Safeguarding Adults Board and identify ways to improve systems and support.

Your responses will be stored securely and any information will be anonymised before it is shared.

The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete. As an incentive – each organisation that completes a survey will be entered into a prize draw – the prize is a £100 cash donation to the organisation.

If you have any questions or would like a paper copy of this survey please contact 0191 2635321 or e-mail info@hwnt.co.uk
