Bladder and bowel worries can affect people of all ages. Some people will manage these themselves, others will get help from the NHS. It can be hard to talk about, meaning that people are often too embarrassed to ask for support. Residents have told us bladder and bowel concerns can significantly impact people’s enjoyment of life.

We want to bring this issue into the open and find out more about people’s experiences and concerns. This way we can work with local NHS service providers and commissioners, businesses and community organisations to make sure residents in North Tyneside have access to trusted information and support when they most need it.

Whatever your bladder and bowel worries, we want to hear from you.

We want to understand how big a problem this is for you, what you do to manage your problem, what support you access and what you would like to see in the future.

Sharing your thoughts and experiences will help us work with local services to provide the support people need. Your feedback will be stored safely by Healthwatch and used anonymously.

Healthwatch North Tyneside is an independent charity dedicated to helping make local health and care services better for you. You can find out more about us and how we will manage the information you provide by contacting us on 0191 263 5321, email admin@hwnt.co.ukor on our website www.hwnt.co.uk
