Welsh Government on the 13th May 2020 released its ‘Test, Trace, Protect Strategy’. The strategy sets out the approach we will all need to take to protect ourselves, our families and our communities to limit the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) as we move into the recovery phase of the outbreak.
Here in Cwm Taf Morgannwg, we are starting to plan our local recovery response to ensure that when lockdown restrictions start to ease, we have measures in place to help prevent further spread of COVID-19. This will include:
- Encouraging anyone with COVID-19 symptoms to report them. This could be over the phone, online or using a digital App.
- Extending our testing services in the community.
- Using contact tracing so that we can track individuals that may have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19.
- Ensuring that local support is readily available so that individuals experiencing COVID-19 symptoms are enabled to self-isolate as many times as may be necessary.
To help us shape our plan, your views are really important to us. All responses you give will be anonymous.
