Nourish Cumbria is a project funded by Cumberland Council and supported by H&H. It aims to strengthen and promote Cumbria's agricultural sector, and in so doing, improve the area's food system and the health and wellbeing of the people of Cumbria.
Your information about what is grown and raised in Cumbria will be used to create an interactive map on the Nourish Cumbria website.
This survey is for farmers, growers and beekeepers, only.
This will show the spider-web of producers and where the food goes - how much stays within the county. It can also be a platform for you to promote your farm business generally and agritourism initiatives in particular, and to help educate the wider public about how food gets from farm to fork.
Information about skills, infrastructure and employment won't necessarily be used on the website but will be used to identify opportunities for business growth as well as potential risks for Cumbrian agriculture.
