Getting to appointments shouldn’t be a challenge.
But for many, recent changes to patient transport eligibility have made it harder. If you’ve been affected by this in the past year, we’d really like to hear from you.
As an independent organisation, we are asking about your experience of the Patient Transport Service and whether recent changes to eligibility criteria have affected access. We can share this with NHS leaders and other decision makers to help improve the standard of care in your local area.
What is the Patient Transport Service?
The Patient Transport Service provides NHS funded transport for eligible people who are unable to travel to their healthcare appointments by any other means. This may be due to their need for a specially adapted vehicle, specialist equipment, or the skills of trained staff during the journey.
