The Environmental and Community Improvement Fund is for environmental projects that will make your community a safer, tidier and a nicer place to live.

You must be a council tenant or leaseholder to apply. 

The Environmental and Community Improvement Fund allows you to apply for a grant of up to £10,000.

We have 3 categories available:

• Category 1: A yearly funding of up to £250 - this option is open to applications
• Category 2: Funding of up to £3,000 once every 2 years - this option is now closed
• Category 3:  Funding of up to £10,000 once every 2 years - this option is now closed

If your application is successful, you will be working closely with your community, Tenant Participation Team of Housing Services and our Tenant Panel members.

You will not be able to apply for a further 2 years for Category 2 and 3, if the grant has been successful.
