Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) is dedicated to making sure that our communications are clear, easy to understand and the information is helpful. To help with this, we are setting up a group of ‘readers’ who regularly review letters and leaflets and offer suggestions on how these can be more patient friendly.
We will ask our readers group to comment on a range of materials such as GP letters, leaflets and web pages to find out if the information easy to read and understand, how useful is the information and would the format benefit from photographs or additional text etc.
