SEND Improvements in Oldham 2022

1. Improving SEND In Oldham

Oldham SEND Partnership were working on 5 key priorities following the Ofsted /Care Quality Commission (CQC) Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Inspection of 2017, and 2 of these areas were an additional focus following the revisit 2019.  Its important that we reflect on the original 5 key priority areas to look at progress and understand from you what is working well and what are the areas for improvement.

We are also including 3 short questions on Oldham's SEND Local Offer, which will inform the Short Breaks Play and Leisure Project Board, who are currently working on the Short Breaks Offer in Oldham.

The SEND Partnership is made up of:
  • Oldham Local Authority SEND Services
  • Oldham Local Authority Social Care
  • Greater Manchester Integrated Care (previously Oldham Clinical Commissioning Group)
  • Schools; and
  • POINT

Your answers will help to inform how continued developments are prioritised.

Please complete this survey to ensure that Oldham Parent Carer Forum and it's representatives fully understand your views and can use these to shape YOUR priorities, addressing the things that matter most to you.

The survey will take approximately 5 minutes - No time at all to shape our children and young people's future!
