Oldham Parent Carer Forum and Oldham SEND Information and Advice Support Service (SENDIASS) are delighted to be able to offer a wide range of workshops that have been designed for parents and carers of children and young people with additional needs and/or disabilities, aged 0-25 in Oldham.

These workshops will be delivered by Claire Jackson, SEND Legal Trainer from SENETA (Special Educational Needs Expert Training & Advocacy) and are open to Parents/Carers, SENCO's, Learning Support Assistants and Early Help Practitioners in Oldham.

Each workshop content is detailed within this registration document, and there is no restriction to the number you can access.  It is important that you complete the registration details in full, with you name and contact details prior to selecting any sessions.

 

  • 9th January 2024 11am - 1.30pm Making Sense of SEN Law including Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
  • 15th February 2024 6pm - 7.30pm - Mental Capacity and Consent (for parents/carers of children and young people in Year 9 and above.)
  • 27th February 2024 12.30pm - 3pm - Deconstructing Transport 
  • 6th March 2024 10am - 1pm - Annual Review - A Practical Approach
  • 11th March 2024 6pm - 8.30pm - Making Sense of SEN Law including Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
