Secure Innovation Security Reviews offer the UK emerging technology sector expert, tailored guidance to help protect their ideas, technologies, and long-term success.
Delivered by approved security reviewers, the service helps organisations identify and manage key security risks, particularly those risks linked to state threats, and supports them in building security into their wider organisational strategy.
The review provides a high-level overview of an organisations overall protective security posture, considering Protective Security Governance, Security Culture, Risk Management, Cyber Security, Supply Chain and Partnerships, and Incident Management.
The National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) (part of MI5) and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) (part of GCHQ) developed the Secure Innovation campaign to help founders and leaders of innovative early-stage tech companies to protect their IP, competitive advantage, and reputation. The Security Review scheme is funded by HM Government through a joint initiative between the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), National Protective Security Authority (NPSA), and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
Innovate UK Business Growth Consortium Partner is managing this scheme.
