Sex Establishment Policy consultation
The Council adopted legislation in 2012 which gave it the ability to control and regulate Sex Establishments. A policy was developed at that time and the Council is now reviewing it.

A public engagement survey was held in April 2018 to ask views on the control and regulation of sexual establishments and what people felt was appropriate for the city. A cross-party working group was set up to develop a new draft policy which heard from a number of stakeholders.

This new consultation is asking for views on sex establishments in the city and for comments on the  content of the draft policy.

1. What capacity are you responding to this consultation in?

2. Do you agree with the proposed scope of the policy?

3. Do you agree with the proposed process for making applications and how they will be decided?
