Streets for All: Bury town centre links
Share your views on improvements in Bury.
These proposals are being funded by UK Government’s City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) to help us make it safer, easier and more enjoyable to walk, wheel and cycle around Bury.
We’re proposing improvements in three areas to improve connections to workplaces, schools and the town centre, and enhance the look and feel of local streets and neighbourhoods. These areas are:
- Southern Gateway (to the south of Bury town centre, between Bury Grammar School / Fishpool and the town centre ring road)
- Western Gateway (to the west of Bury town centre, between Burrs Country Park and Woodhill Fold and the Woodfields area
- Freetown (to the east of Bury town centre, between the town centre and Hoyle Park)
