This survey is about reducing child sexual abuse in our communities. Cleveland's Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is leading a transformational programme in how we deal with child sexual abuse, which will include all agencies across Teesside, from adult to children services, Fire rescue, NHS... everybody. To kick things off, we need to establish how much is known about child sexual abuse and, how much you need to know so we can have an idea about how much work we need to do. Collecting and handling your information
The information collected in this survey is limited to what is necessary to help us understand what is currently known about child sexual abuse across the Teesside area. This information will be used only for the purposes of the Child Sexual Abuse Transformation Project. We will handle your personal information according to Part 2 of the UK Data Protection Act 2018; all information collected will be stored securely on our computer systems and will only be accessed by those involved in the Child Sexual Abuse Transformation Project where there is a lawful purpose to do so. We use Smart Survey to conduct our online consultations. By completing this online consultation, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to Smart Survey for processing in accordance with its
Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement (standard contractual terms). Personal information provided when responding to consultations will be retained until the statistical analysis of the responses is complete. It will then be deleted. During the life of the Child Sexual Abuse Transformation Project we may publish documents that summarise the findings of this survey but this will not contain any personal data. If we plan to include any information that specifically identifies any particular organisation we will agree this with the responsible officer within that organisation in advance.
