A mental health needs assessment of students at London HEIs

Thank you for opening our survey.

What is this survey about?
It is your chance to help Thrive LDN and The University of London identify how all organisations can work collaboratively to ensure appropriate care is provided for students across London who are struggling with their mental health.
Thrive LDN is a citywide movement to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all Londoners. It is supported by the Mayor of London and led by the London Health Board partners'

What will it be used for?
This survey is part of independent research being carried out by Fiveways NP Ltd. The project also includes research with students and those working within London’s Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The research aims to:
- develop clear actions to improve the support provided to students in London
- inform the development of London Higher’s referral pathways toolkit to improve the effectiveness of the referral system between London’s HEIs and care providers.
That is why it is important we hear your perspective.

Why should I do it?
We realise that time is often scarce and that you may be asked to do lots of surveys. We feel this survey is important as it is part of a project looking specifically at the issues affecting students studying at London institutions. It also has the support of your institution and key bodies such as the Association of Directors of Public Health, AMOSSHE, The University of London, Universities UK and Mind.
As a small thank you for your time and insight, at the end of the survey you will be invited to enter a prize draw to win one of two £30 Love2Shop vouchers that can be spent in over 20,000 shops, restaurants and attractions.

Is it anonymous?
Yes. We want you to give us honest, frank answers so no information that identifies you will be shared with any other organisation. Only Fiveways can access individual survey responses and analyse the results.

How long does it take?
There are around 20 questions - most of these are quick "multiple choice" ones, so the survey can be completed in less than ten minutes.

You can stop and come back to the survey later by clicking the "Save and Continue" button at the bottom of each page. You will then be prompted for an email address, and we will send you an automated email with a unique link to the survey, so you can pick it up from where you left it*. Sometimes this email can end up in your junk email folder so please check there if you use this option.

Many thanks for taking part,
