Transport has consistently been an issue in Healthwatch feedback, particularly those without access to private vehicles, disabled people, those with long term conditions and the elderly.
- We want to understand how patients across Westmorland and Furness use public transport to attend the full range of health appointments, such as GP and dentists, local and regional hospitals, physio and rehabilitation programmes, and other therapy and support.
- The appointment does not need to be in Westmorland and Furness. We know many people attend appointments in Lancashire, Carlisle, Whitehaven, Newcastle and Northumberland.
- This survey asks for brief details about your journey but if you would like to speak to one of the team and give us more detail you can do so at the end.
The survey takes less than five minutes to complete, depending on how much information you are giving us.
Please read our privacy notice. This tells you how we handle the information we hold about you: https://healthwatchwestfurn.co.uk/privacy-notice/
Thank you for taking part. We value your time and input. We will use what you tell us in a report, which we will take to public transport commissioners and providers to support service improvement across Westmorland and Furness and Cumbria.
The survey will run until Friday 31st October at 5pm.
