National Volunteer Awards 2026 - Nomination Form

Thank you for nominating a Volunteer for the National Volunteer Awards 2026.   
 

• If you would like to nominate more than one Volunteer, please complete a separate form for each Volunteer. If you would like to nominate a Volunteer for more than one award you have the option to do this using one form. 
• The nomination criteria can be found on the British Cycling website. Please ensure that you are able to evidence how your nominee meets this. 
• Remember that individuals can only be nominated for voluntary roles they undertake. They can hold a paid role in cycling, but they cannot be nominated for any paid work.  

Privacy Statement 

British Cycling collects personal data for the National Volunteer Awards to assess nominations, contact nominees, share their stories, and pick winners. 

If you nominate someone, we'll ask for your name, email, and British Cycling membership number, as well as the nominee's name, contact details, membership number, and answers to questions about why you're nominating them. If the nominee is under 18, we require parents' or guardians' contact details to progress any nominations. 

All applications will be reviewed by a shortlisting panel comprised of staff from across British, Welsh and Scottish Cycling and nominee's details who have been shortlisted will be shared with an expert panel. This includes British Cycling, Welsh Cycling and Scottish Cycling senior staff and external individuals. Winners will be publicised in the volunteer newsletter, on the British Cycling website, and through our media channels. 

British Cycling will retain the personal data collected for the National Volunteer Awards for 12 months.
