VCSE contracts

The East Riding Council currently commissions a Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) support and development service to support all VCSE groups delivering services within its boundaries. Currently this service is delivered by the Smile Foundation until 31 March 2022 and is funded by the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The VCSE groups within the East Riding of Yorkshire are diverse, varying in size, capacity, capability, resourcing etc. Workshops and discussions have been planned to allow VCSE groups of all types and sizes to feed in to the developing specification, enabling the Council to encapsulate the needs and expectations of all VCSE groups within the available budget and anticipate changes in the ways we work collaboratively across communities, VCSE groups and statutory agencies. This questionnaire is designed to provide you with the opportunity to comment on what you and your group/organisation wish to see in the new specification for the VCSE support and development provider from April 2022.
