1. SSDC Great Green Directory summary

The new Great Green Directory - a one stop shop where South Somerset residents can go to find local, trusted, sustainable and environmentally friendly businesses, organisations and community groups to help make eco and ethical choices when choosing products and services.  The directory will be featured on our main SSDC website and our brand new environment website which is coming soon!

If you are a local eco-business, organisation or community group who would like to be listed in our new Great Green Directory, we would love you to be involved. Please fill out the details below. 

Businesses and organisations will be listed subject to their exemplary eco merits and must be based in South Somerset or supply goods and services to the South Somerset area. SSDC is committed to being carbon neutral by 2030 and part of this is to support eco-friendly businesses and consumers to deliver carbon neutrality and biodiversity to support the transition to a sustainable South Somerset.

SSDC recognised a climate and ecological emergency in October 2019 and committed to be carbon neutral by 2030. You can view our Environment Strategy here
