A "dementia friendly initiative" describes any work or project focussing on making an activity or service or space more accessible or inclusive for people affected by dementia. 

The World Dementia Council has launched an international project to gather evidence of Dementia Friendly Initiatives. The project's aim is to assess the impact of these initiatives. We need your help to address the following key questions that will inform the project: Have Dementia Friendly Initiatives been created in collaboration with people affected by dementia? Are they meaningful and useful to people affected by dementia?
