Kirklees council have commissioned an independent review of specialist provision in Kirklees led by Jane Friswell an independent SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) consultant and parent advocate.PCAN wishes to ensure that parents' voices are heard as part of this review.  If your child attends any of the following, we would be grateful if you could spare 10 minutes to describe your experiences, good, bad or otherwise:

Primary: Lowerhouses (hearing impairment), Dalton (visual impairment), Rawthorpe StJames Infant, Rawthorpe Junior (physical impairment), Windmill (complex communication and interaction, which includes autism).
Secondary: Newsome (hearing impairment and physical disability), Moorend (visual impairment), Royds Hall, Honley High, Thornhill Academy (complex communication and interaction).

This information will be shared with Jane and form part of her review. If your young person would like to share their views, please share the link with them so they can fill it in independently.
