Thank you for looking to complete an honours nomination. The honours system is an important way to recognise outstanding individuals and reward exceptional service.
This form is to nominate someone in the transport sector for an Honour for the New Year 2027 Honours round. Please provide as much of the information as possible to ensure that the nomination can progress smoothly. Nominations cannot proceed without information such as the nominee's date of birth and address, so if you are unable to provide these now, we will be in touch to ask for them later.
The timescales for the round are:
- Friday 10th April - deadline for nominations
- July/August 2026 - feedback provided to nominators on whether nominee has been put forward to the next stage (Cabinet Office committees) for consideration
- November 2026 - various checks take place for nominees
- End of December 2026 - final list confirmed and announced
