What matters most: commissioning intentions

1. Help us shape plans for NHS services

0%

NHS Kent and Medway is planning health services for the coming year. Our aim is to improve people’s health and stop people getting unwell, reduce unfair differences in health, move care closer to people’s homes, and make the best use of the money and staff we have.

We know people want improvements across all NHS services. We have already heard about what matters to people in Kent and Medway overall. However, we cannot improve everything at the same time. This means we need to decide which areas should be the highest priority. This survey will help us make these choices.

The survey includes questions about

  • GPs and care in your neighbourhood
  • improving planned care, referrals and urgent care
  • planning maternity and fertility services
  • improving mental health, autism and ADHD support.

It will take you about 15 minutes to complete.

Please remember:

  • There are no right or wrong answers.
  • We know many services need to improve.
  • Choosing one priority may mean other improvements take longer.
  • Your answers will help us understand what local people think should happen first.

This survey will close 9am Tuesday 1 September 2026.
