Community Builder Training

Please complete this form to book your place onto one of our community builder training sessions. You will receive a confirmation email within a few days of signing up. The new, free-of-charge Community Builder training programme funded by the Mayor of London, will see Protection Approaches train 300 hundred community builders across the capital. This online training is aimed at anyone passionate about creating positive change in their communities and will help them to build their knowledge and skills on how to bring people together, tackle injustice, and increase cohesion. Following the training, every participant will be encouraged and supported to apply what they have learnt in the training to work they are already doing or even a new initiative whether it is in their workplace, community, group, or club. We are particularly keen to encourage community builders in Newham and Wandsworth as these are two of our "focus" areas. 7. Dates:

We are training 300 community builders across London!

There are two options to complete the training: over two back-to-back daytime sessions or over four evening sessions split over two weeks

Additional dates in November and early December will be announced towards the end of October.

8. Adjustments:

This training will be facilited onine via Zoom. During workshops, we will be providing an online workbook to refer to, and online activity sheets to work on individually as well as in groups.

We want to ensure that this training is a comfortable, useful and enjoyable experience for all. With this in mind, please let us know about any adjustments you may need or additional learning needs that you have that the facilitators should be aware of.
