Questionnaire - Tenant experience of the MRO process

Have you requested a Market Rent Only option as a tied pub tenant of your pub company and have you reached the end of the MRO process? This may mean you have gone free of tie, decided to remain tied or arrived at some other outcome. If so, the PCA would like to hear from you.  

We want to understand your experience of the MRO process with your pub company, and whether you feel you have had a genuine choice between the tied and free of tie options to make the best choice for your business. The information gathered helps the PCA to understand how the MRO process is working, and how pub companies are complying with their duties under the Pubs Code.

These questions takes up to 5 minutes and can be completed on a computer, laptop or mobile. Where questions require a response, these will have an asterix * next to them. Your pub company will ask you to complete this questionnaire at the end of the MRO process (and can provide hard copies on request). You only need to complete this questionnaire once. 

All responses will be treated in accordance with data protection requirements and the PCA's privacy policy. Where it may help the PCA in its regulatory work, we may share with others, including pub companies, what we learn about tenant experiences of the MRO process from questionnaire responses. However, we will only do so in a way that ensures the anonymity of individuals who answer this questionnaire. Please be assured your pub company will not receive your individual response, or receive information which can identify you, even if you arrive at this questionnaire through a link from them.

Completing this questionnaire does not affect any right to refer any Pubs Code-related dispute to the PCA for arbitration and it will not be disclosed to arbitrators.
