Overview
Thank you for registering your interest in the 'Leading Public Services in the Digital Age' short course being delivered by the Leadership College for Government. This short course focuses on leading in the digital age, addressing its importance in Public Service through an overnight residential workshop and one day in-person event. Guest speakers, facilitated discussions and experiential activities will highlight the responsibilities and opportunities around data for senior public service leaders.

In-person event: Wednesday 7th June 2023 (London)

Costs
The Leadership College for Government covers course costs, including speakers, venue hire, and food, for this course. You will be asked to pay a non-refundable fee of £100 to contribute towards accommodation costs and to secure their place on the course. You will be invoiced for this fee upon completing this registration form. You will be expected to claim back this cost and expenses (including travel) from your employer.
Eligibility
This course is available to the two most senior tiers of public sector organisations, including, but not limited to the following job titles:
- Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), and Deputy Chief Executive Officers (DCEOs) in the National Health Service, including NHS Trusts, Ambulance Trusts, and Clinical Commissioning Groups.
- Vice-Chancellors, Pro-Vice-Chancellors and Deputy Vice-Chancellors of Universities
- Heads and Deputy Heads of large Further Education Colleges and Academy Chains
- Local Authority CEOs and DCEOs
- Chief Constables and Deputy Chief Constables of Police Services
- Chief and Deputy Chief Fire Officers of Fire and Rescue Services
- Civil Service Permanent Secretaries, Director Generals and Directors
- Three, two and one star Military officers
- CEOs and DCEOs of large Housing Associations
- CEOs and DCEOs of large Arms Length Bodies and Regional Transport Authorities
Evaluation
You will see that there are two parts; practical details for the course and a section on research data. Your completion of the research element is important for the purpose of evaluating the services we provide. The results inform our approach to future events and will ensure that LCG activities are designed to meet your needs.
The research data collected through this survey will be treated in confidence and used only for the purposes of the evaluation. The findings will be reported at aggregate level so that individual respondents cannot be identified from the results. You will be asked to provide your name to allow us to attach a unique identifier to each survey response. Upon receiving the data, your name will be removed from all data sets within seven working days. The LCG will only use and process anonymised data.
